Do something about it.

2009 UPC & Northwest Churches Short Term Ministry in the Holy Land (October 8-24, 2009)

"To Listen, Encourage and Support."

John Berg (Middle East Fellowship) and Pastor Allen Belton (Director of Reconciliation and Mentoring at University Presbyterian Church, Seattle) invite you to join them on an unique Short Term Ministry trip of understanding and encouragement in the Holy Land from October 8-24, 2009. We will discover the living church in Israel and Palestine as we travel amidst the ancient sites in the footsteps of our Lord Jesus. We will consider the current situation and our role as we seek ways of building bridges of peace through conversations with Israeli and Palestinian organizations that are working for reconciliation and justice. This will be a rich ministry experience as we stay with Jewish and Arab families in their homes, receive their incredible hospitality, worship together, build relationships -- and then return home as advocates for our newfound friends in the holy land! For further information, contact Julie Lewis Juliel@upc.org or John Berg at: Tel (425) 218-3682 or Email: JohnTBerg@msn.com
