Middle East Fellowship invites you to explore the Middle East in a new and exciting way. Participate in a pilgrimage, transformational journey, fact-finding mission or short-term volunteer project. Travel programs range from ten days to three months. All programs to Palestine and Israel are organized in partnership with the
Travel & Encounter department of Holy Land Trust.

Delegation to Syria and Lebanon
1 out of every 5 Iraqis have been displaced*. Almost 5 million Iraqis have become refugees.
Do something about it.
Middle East Fellowship, in partnership with the Middle East Council of Churches, will be bringing participants to Syria and Lebanon to meet with Iraqi refugees and humanitarian organizations who are working on their behalf. The plight of Iraqi refugees is a crisis that has received little media attention but has become a critical humanitarian issue throughout the Middle East.
Itinerary: We will arrive in Damascus on October 25th. Meetings and delegation visits in Syria will take place from October 26th-29th. Meetings and delegations visits in Lebanon will take place between October 30th-November 1st.

Damascus Summer Encounter is a 1 to 2 month service learning program in Damascus, Syria. Participants will volunteer with a local church or humanitarian organization, study Arabic through the Berlitz program, meet local community and religious leaders and explore the region with excursions to Palmyra, Aleppo and other cities and sites of historical and cultural significance.

Palestine Summer Encounter is a one to three month service learning and cultural immersion program in Bethlehem, Palestine. Participants study Arabic in and outside of the classroom setting, live with a Palestinian host family, volunteer with one of thirty-seven participating nonprofits and organizations and meet with both Israeli and Palestinian peacemakers.

This year the Holy Land Trust’s Home Rebuilding Summer
Camp returns with a renewed and added opportunity to learn about and help make a difference in the Holy Land. Holy Land Trust and with the assistance of ICAHD (Israeli Committee Against Home Demolitions), will lead participants in rebuilding a devastated family’s home near Bethlehem.
